LifeCycleSecurity was created to provide a venue where Application Security professionals can go to learn the latest techniques for creating secure applications, test existing applications and hear what other companies are doing to solve Application Security Issues. The vision for the confernece is to share "real world" experiences. It is our vision to bring experts with "real world" experience who can share their experiences and show what has worked and what has not worked in their environments.

We will also be inviting vendors to present their tools and technologies. These talks will be clearly identified as a Vendor (yes it will have a bias) presentation. Vendor are a vital part of the application security community and we welcome them to participate in our "vendor" track.

A group of Application Security professional that want to give our community a venue we felt was missing from the application security landscape.

regarding bias

As you can see from the Founder information below we all have "day jobs” and work for various companies in the Application Security industry. Based on this it is a fair question to ask if the conference is going to show biases toward one company / technology or if it will be an open forum where ideas from all parts of the industry are welcomed.

It is our goal to create a forum where opinions and experiences from many different areas of the application security industry can be presented. While we all bring our unique set of experiences and opinions to the conference it is our greatest hope that this is an open forum where we can all learn from the various experiences and skill that are presented.
